  1. I just saw this page!! I am also going to read Water For Elephants. I think I’ll read that next. I have The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, but I haven’t read it yet. I LOVE the Charlaine Harris books! They are soooo good.

  2. Jitterbug Perfume.

  3. Do you like easy read girly books? If so I’ll give you some recommendations!

  4. Water for Elephants is sooo good, and I like the The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo, although the last 2 in the series aren’t quite as good. But the movies are!

I love almost everything by Philippa Gregory – all those historical fiction books like the The Other Boleyn, etc.

  5. Have you heard about the Hunger Games series?! I just finished the first one and I can’t wait to buy the second!

  6. Love this idea! I am a big reader. I am reading water for elephants right now and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone. I can’t put it down every night before I go to bed :)

  7. Ooooh, also, I totally recommend The Help by Katheryn Stockett. One of my girlfriends sent it to me while I was in Africa, and I couldn’t put it down. They are making it into a movie, and I’m super excited. You should totally read it!

  8. Wasn’t Water For Elephants amazing? I need to see the movie.

Another book you’d probably like is The Time Traveler’s Wife, SUCH such an amazing read if you’re into love stories that aren’t ooey-gooey. Ok, who am I kidding, I like those kinds too 😉

  9. I love Running Betty’s comment! I’m ashamed to admit, as I love reading, that I haven’t read any of these – eek!
I did start The girl With The Dragon Tattoo but wasn’t impressed and didn’t finish it.
I could recommend loads but think maybe We Need To Talk About Kevin is the book that affected me most this year; it took a while to get into but was so good, in a weird way…!

  10. I loved Water for Elephants and Wuthering Heights. I just finished The Paris Wife and cannot recommend it enough! I loved it!

  11. New recommendation! Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs. It was fantastic!
